IAVA Sponsors Care Package Parties at RNC and DNC

 IAVA attended both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions and sponsored a "Care Package Party", creating hundreds of care packages to send to deployed soldiers and showing that caring for our troops isn't a partisan or political issue.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 27, Michelle Obama, wife of Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama, will join Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), the nation's first and largest nonpartisan organization for veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, at a nonpartisan service event in Denver.
